Mac and Cheese....SURPRISE!

Surprise!!!! I managed to still get a recipe pushed out this week in between the moving and packing!  I made Ashton's favorite chicken tenders last night with green beans and wanted to have a hearty side for my hubby.  When I saw this recipe, I knew I had to make it.  Enough for leftovers, no Kraft out of the box, and super easy.  Yes, please!  Let me tell you, if you did not know the recipe, you would NEVER know this was a meal thrown together and put in the microwave.  This was SO good and a definite keeper.  Kids will love it!!  Promise!!



 

5 Minute Homemade Mac and Cheese - Picky Palate

1/2 pound cooked pasta of choice (we used small shells)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup whole milk
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1. Place pasta, cheese, milk, salt and pepper into a microwave safe bowl. Stir to mix. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes. Stir and microwave for an additional 2 minutes. Stir until creamy and smooth. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings
